2025 marked the launch of WeatherTech’s newest evergreen marketing campaign, For Whatever Comes Your Way. The campaign drew inspiration from Steppenwolf’s Born to Be Wild; the iconic track featured in WeatherTech’s 2025 Super Bowl commercial (view here). Borrowing from the song’s opening lyrics, we reimagined the fourth line—originally “In whatever comes our way”—into a bold new campaign message: For Whatever Comes Your Way.

This tagline speaks directly to the purpose of WeatherTech’s custom-fit FloorLiners, which are laser measured to your vehicle’s year, make, and model, and meticulously engineered to protect your vehicle’s interior from life’s everyday messes and mishaps—essentially, whatever comes your way.

To bring this concept to life visually, I provided creative direction to WeatherTech’s in-house Studio team with a clear emphasis on authenticity, lifestyle realism, and a “lived-in” aesthetic. The objective was to create product imagery that feels grounded in real-world scenarios—images that show our products in the environments where our customers actually use them. We believe this authentic, lived-in look will resonate more deeply with our audience and visually reinforce a compelling “reason to believe” in WeatherTech products.

Trim-To-Fit Floor Mat Package Redesign

In a market flooded with lookalike products, our challenge was clear: redesign the packaging for WeatherTech’s Trim-To-Fit Floor Mats in a way that breaks through the noise and proudly shouts what sets it apart — precision-engineered and made in America.

Our solution? Let the product speak for itself. We took the mat’s distinctive reservoir tread pattern and fused it with the bold iconography of the American flag. The result is a striking visual that’s both functional and patriotic — a design that grabs attention and leaves no doubt about the brand’s roots. It’s more than just packaging — it’s a celebration of American craftsmanship, built to stand out on the shelf.
